1. Three days before beginning
Eliminate dairy products, grains (beans, rice, lentils), cereals (corn, oats) and seeds (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios, peanuts).
2. From Day 4 onwards
Take 40 ounces or 1 liter and a quarter (5 x 8oz glasses) of carrot juice per day for 5 consecutive days.
3. You can eat
Animal protein, eggs, tubers (potatoes, yuca, cassava), plantains, fruit, avocados and vegetables in general.
4. Don’t do 5X5🥕
If you suffer from uncontrolled diabetes, are pregnant or receiving treatment containing 10 or more mgs of Prednisone, or have Triglycerides of over 300 mgs (severe Hypertriglyceridemia) or Renal insufficiency.
5. Take the juice
Either at intervals during the day or all together in the morning, or else half during the morning and the other half during the afternoon. Whichever way suits you best.
6. You should
Eliminate the above-mentioned food items 3 days before starting 5×5; otherwise, you may experience discomfort or a Healing Crisis (Herxhimer or Die-Off Reaction).
A Healing Crisis occurs when your symptoms get worse or new ones appear.
With a Healing Crisis, you may feel a taste of metal in your mouth, skin damage, diarrhea, constipation, articulatory pain, mucus in the nose or stools and possibly flu symptoms, among other side-effects.
It’s quite common to experience a Healing Crisis, but equally common not to.

7. If you experience a Healing Crisis
Suspend 5X5🥕 .
Check Thyroids (Anti-TPO, Anti-TSH antibodies) and heavy metals in the blood (Mercury, Aluminum, Lead, etc.).
Read PARASITES in the Protocols section of this website and act accordingly. One month later, resume 5×5 with 20 ounces instead of 40.

I followed 5X5🥕 and my skin turned yellow. What should I do in this case?
It’s quite normal, even ideal, for the skin to turn yellow with the 5X120, and in some cases, even with the 5X21 and the 5X14. If it occurs earlier with the 5X5🥕, you can rule out Hypothyroidism.
What is the relationship between 5X5🥕 and the Thyroid Hormone?
This is the hormone which is responsible for converting Beta-Carotene into Vitamin A.
Is it dangerous if I turn yellow?
No. If it bothers you, just stop taking the juice and you’ll be back to normal in 1-4 weeks.
Why should I use an extractor and not a blender?
5X5🥕 contains FALCARINOL and TERPENES in quantities which are impossible to obtain with a blender.
Should I peel the carrots?
NO. DON’T peel them. Their skin contains the highest concentration of Falcarinol and Terpenes.
Can I refrigerate the juices for 1 day?

Yes.
People with Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism benefit greatly from 5X5🥕. Your TSH should be between 0.3 and 3 mg/dl.
Can I do 5X5🥕 if I am insulin-resistant?
In cases of obesity with insulin-resistance, the 5X5🥕 EXTREME is recommended.
In cases of insulin-resistance without overweight, the BASIC 5X5🥕 is recommended, once the capillary glucometer has confirmed that your Glycemia level is below 140 mg/dl. Check it 2 hours after taking the juices.
